iFACTS Automation – smarter workflows without coding

iFACTS Automation is a flexible tool that enables process and task automation directly within the system – without the need for custom development. Web application operating in Sweden

iFACTS software is a web application built on technology from Microsoft, ASP.NET Core, with SQL server. The software is available in Swedish and English by default, and can be adapted for additional languages upon request.
iFACTS offers hosting through Swedish partners, delivered as a SaaS solution. All data is stored in Sweden. Alternatively, the software can be installed in your own IT environment as an on-premises solution.

The iFACTS platform is designed with security as a foundational principle. We combine robust technical and organizational measures to protect customer information and ensure compliance with regulations such as the GDPR and requirements from the public sector.

Secure access is at the core of the platform:

  • Support for strong authentication, including two-factor login via BankID, Freja eID, and SITHS, and more.
  • Role- and permission-based access control at the organization, module, and document level.
  • Dedicated instances per customer – no data is ever shared between tenants.
  • Flexible control of viewing and editing rights down to the field and entity level.

Reliable infrastructure and operations:

  • iFACTS can be delivered on-premises in the customer’s own data center or as a SaaS solution in iFACTS’ secure hosting environment located in Swedish data centers. Regardless of the model, high data security, availability, and compliance are ensured.
  • Daily and weekly encrypted backups are stored for a minimum of 365 days.
  • Regular recovery tests are performed to ensure data integrity.
  • Backup and storage policies can be customized based on customer needs.

Proactive security monitoring:

  • Regular security and penetration testing using industry-leading tools.
  • Additional testing is conducted during major system changes or when threat landscapes evolve.
  • All data communication is encrypted (TLS 1.2 or higher), and data at rest is secured with strong encryption (AES-256).

iFACTS Portals provide the ability to configure user-specific portals where the presented information is tailored to the needs of the logged-in user type. The portal is configurable, consisting of various widgets with specific functions and content that can be dynamically placed within it.

A center for content and automation. Import frameworks, standards, laws and regulations, risks, and more. Automatically distributed to the correct entity in the software.

In control with dependency graphs

Build graphical relationships between, for example, suppliers, processes, and risks. With dependency graphs, you get visual traceability throughout your entire business.

A central part of the iFACTS platform is the functionality to create dependencies between asset types, which then form the basis for governance and follow-up activities. These dependencies are visualized in dependency graphs / supply chains.

Reports & Dashboards

The application provides efficient support for various types of reports.

Through Microsoft SSRS and standard reports integrated into the system, users can independently configure and save the final design of reports. Parameter settings, column selection, and report formats are different types of configurations that can be easily applied.

iFACTS develops its own visualizations but is also integrated with Kibana Dashboards. Additional visualization tools can be connected upon request.

Permissions

The permissions consist of three important parts in combination:

  • Personal user account: Describes who the user is and what authentication method is used.
  • Permission group: A logical grouping of permissions, often named to quickly provide an idea of the content, e.g. Administrators. The group controls exactly which modules, pages and functions the group has access to.
  • Organization: Part of the hierarchical representation of the organizational structure. All data in the application has a connection to organizations. For example, a certain asset is owned by an organization, or a mailing is made to a certain organization.
