Business Plan
COSO

An important task for management, the board and owners is to take responsibility and be held accountable. In order to do this, a thorough reporting of all parts of the business is required, presented in a format adapted for management, the board and owners. This is the Business Plan.
The background to the Business Plan can be described as follows. “All organizations exist to create value for their stakeholders” (COSO Enterprise Risk Management).
The value-creating activities usually start from vision, mission, goals, assignments, strategies, policies. These are passed on from the board and management level to the various parts of the business such as products and services, processes, projects, resources, supply chains, external suppliers.
The goal of the Business Plan is to report on all parts within the organization to demonstrate how the organization governs and leads to achieve goals, meet requirements and comply with legislation. Common areas are safety, work environment, quality management, information security, risk and continuity, environment and sustainability.
