Food Safety
  • Food Act
  • Regulations of the National Food Agency

Self-assessment of food is a system to ensure that food is safe to eat. Anyone who handles food must have such a system. The purpose is to prevent, detect and address any risks that could make food unsafe. It is a legal requirement that is monitored by municipal food inspectors.

iFACTS digitalizes your food safety self-assessment and creates a clear structure for what tasks need to be performed, how, and when. By gathering task distribution, procedures, and digital checklists in one place, it becomes easy to do things correctly. The system is built with the user in focus, featuring an easy-to-use interface that makes it quick to get started.

For management, the platform provides a complete and continuously updated overview of performance, deviations, and key figures (KPIs) through reports and dashboards. As a result, the follow-up process becomes efficient at all levels, from the kitchen to the management team. In addition, automatic reminders in the system or via email ensure that no tasks are forgotten, which in turn increases compliance.

The platform is fully configurable to suit your organization's unique needs. Templates can be created centrally and then customized locally, and changes can easily be distributed to all or parts of the affected organization.

It is also possible to extend the system with add-on features, for example for food waste reporting according to the Swedish National Food Agency's national method, as well as to integrate with other systems for centralized login or automatic temperature readings.

Hear from a customer after the implementation:

"… never want to go back to any of the systems previously tested or to pen and paper again…"
