E-services at SKFAB with Automated Case Management

The new e-services at SKFAB (Svenska Kommun Försäkrings AB) are built on a solution from iFACTS AB for claims registration and for private individuals to supplement their case information. It is a seamless and secure solution, fully integrated with the established INSMAN insurance and claims management system. SKFAB has implemented the solution for all of its municipal clients.

These e-services at SKFAB use automated decision support to process cases with sufficient information. This allows claims handlers to focus on more complex cases. For the claimant, this means faster decisions and more efficient processing.

iFACTS' e-services connect seamlessly with all iFACTS products and external systems. This ensures a high level of information security in all communication and enables a digital "My Page," where external users can easily follow their cases, submit additional information, and see the current status.

The iFACTS e-service complies with the Accessibility Directive, according to WCAG 2.1 AA, to function for all users, regardless of their circumstances.

Svenska Kommun Försäkrings AB (SKFAB) is a captive insurance company founded in 2003 and owned by nine Swedish municipalities and one Norwegian municipality. Based in Gävle, SKFAB offers tailored insurance policies (property, liability, accident) and risk management to its owner municipalities and their associated companies.

The company insures assets valued at nearly 500 million SEK for approximately 140 policyholders. In 2021, premium income amounted to 128 million SEK. SKFAB is unique due to its model, which allows for premium refunds when claims are low, benefiting its owner municipalities. The company is under the supervision of the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority.
